When traveling, I often get presented with options in flying., a direct flight or a flight with stops. One a recent trip, I saw one stop involved a day in Istanbul and I thought it would be fun to see if I had the opportunity.
With a love and passion for street photography, Istanbul was a wonderland for me. Not knowing where to go beyond the Hagia Sophia, I took to walking for a few hours along a street called İstiklal. From churches, coffee, dürüm, it was all a Turkish delight!
Taking in the Hagia Sophia with locals
I feel uncomfortable doing selfies.
Finding some commonality in Istanbul
Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Istanbul. It was both humbling and exciting to see how they bless refugees here.
